Perseverance

When I look at this painting I feel two distinct emotions at the same time. There are light pastel colours mixing with darker, more opaque shades. This mixing of different energies in this piece reminds me that so often life is multifaceted. It's rarely just positive, or just negative. We have to learn to hold space for both the positive and the negative in our lives that are happening all at once in the messy, beautiful swirl that is being alive.
