Since childhood, Rebecca has turned to art as a way to process her emotions. Painting and drawing gave her an outlet—an unspoken language where color and form could express what she couldn’t say. Even now, as an adult, painting remains her most honest form of communication. Each piece she creates carries a heartbeat of its own, a raw and unspoken emotion waiting to be felt.

This connection between emotion and art became especially clear during her first painting commission in art school. Tasked with capturing the spirit of a client’s beloved pet bird that had passed away, she poured its essence onto the canvas—not through realism, but through color and energy. When the client saw the finished piece, their first words were, ‘That’s her.’ It was an incredible awakening to the power of art—not just as personal expression, but as a bridge between people, emotions, and the things we hold dear.

Rebecca is based in the Pacific Northwest, where the region’s moody landscapes and ever-changing skies influence her work. She studied at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, B.C. Today, she continues to create pieces that resonate on an emotional level, inviting viewers to see a part of their own story reflected in her work.
