Serene Strength
I was thinking of water when I made this painting. The colors and sense of movement echo my life in the Pacific Northwest, where water flows through every aspect of the landscape. It's an ever-present force that captivates me with its stunning beauty and immense power. I've witnessed its ability to heal, much like a gentle stream that soothes the soul, but I've also seen its destructive side, reminding me of nature's unpredictability. This duality resonates within me, and I aim to capture that balance on canvas.
